Flow NXT

The Flow NXT is a series of Flow bindings which includes the Flow NXT FX (all-mountain, freeride), Flow NXT FS (freestyle) and Flow NXT AT (all-mountain, freestyle). The Flow NXT series is a high end binding in Flow's lineup and the three different options should provide a binding for any riding style. All NXT bindings features a one piece highback with aluminum baseplate and four MINIrachet buckles attached to an I-Flex Powerstrap.
Many riders think Flow bindings are for beginners. The NXT series will certainly dispel that myth. The Flow NXT series is a very solid binding in the FX, FS (pictured) or AT. Riders love the ultimate adjustability you receive with four MINIrachets instead of the two you get on the lower end Flow bindings. A few riders have reported problems with a broken rachet but it does not appear to be a widespread issue.

Flow has fixed all of the bugs with the 2008 NXT AT
What a great Binding some have said it is hard to get in to on steeps they must not be a good rider as it is easy to get in to standing on hard pack is one way but on the knees is the easy way to enjoy this great binding.
I pop of the lifts as I ride off I am in the binding with out stoping this just blows away my friends.
The flow NXT AT is fast to respond to my needs from Greens to Black, Pipes to Box’s you name it I have not found a place I could not ride on the Flow NXT AT.

I bought a pair of 2008 NXT AT’s halfway through last season, replacing my Flow Pro’s. New were 4 mini-ratchets instead of 2, adjustable toe and heel ramps, and a plate cover. Once set up, I needed to make adjustments only when switching boots.
An intermediate rider and confessed old guy, I can’t comment on park performance. That’s not to say that I’m not seeing more and more feature rider’s lock in Flows. For me, it’s about the ease of “on and off” on the shorter Midwest runs where I spend most of my time. A tad heavier than some of the lighter traditionals, the trade off is no pressure points, solid grip and overall good performance.
In short, the Flow NXT ATs are good reliable binders that rival any of their strap-in counterparts.

I rode Flow NXT AT’s all season last year, and I can’t complain about a single thing they had to offer. I was ALWAYS the first in AND out of my bindings, and this caused some of my friends to buy flow also. They have also held up all season, so I plan on buying the team bindings this year!

Bought a pair for the 07/08 season and they are still with me for the 09/10 season. Love them! You can even strap in while on the lift and never stop to look back.

I’ve been riding these three seasons, now. Had a pair stolen (swears under breath), so I’ve owned a few.
I absolutely love them. Very little time messing around at the top of the lift, click in easy without even stopping, while gliding away from the chair equals very good. Comfy on my huge size thirteens due to the lack of specific pressure points equals very very good. The way they make the board feel like an organic extension of my feet equals very, very, very good. About that last thing: there’s a fluid quality to riding with Flows; like you’re flexing the board with the whole expanse of your lower leg, from the tips of your toes to the mid-calf spot where the highback ends; the tension in the cable gives the setup that perfect bit of give. I take ‘em into the park, onto the groomers, into the powder, all with no fear. You know you can put your edges exactly where you want ‘em.
Minor issue: cables do wear out; there’s not a lot of dealers around here if you happen to need one fast; apparently they’re working on this, and the former dealer was good enough to help me out last time. Making a point of stocking up, now, too.

I bought the NXT AT 07/08 flows and have so far replaced two hiback cables, one each binding, i have now bought some spares too as mentioned here they are not easy to come by in a hurry, that is my only compliant but i ride the uk domes nearly once a month, park features mostly and abroad at least two weeks a year
and i like to think i push them hard, so i can forgive them for that.
All i got was shit from my mates for using flows (used to ride burton straps)but now after about 3 years of me constantly waiting about for them at the top of lifts, 2 of them now converted.
i honestly cant fault these bindings at all they are class and i wouldnt ride anything else!
Anyone who slates them has never properly ridden them.

I am an intermediate rider. Purchased the 2010 Flow NXT AT in size XL. Been riding in them for two years now and very happy with them. Very comfortable, very easy to get in/out of with a simple flip of the latch on back. I would recommend to others.

I like these bindings. I am starting my seccond season on my 2010 NXT bindings. They have become nice and quick to get in and out of. They take a bit of adjustment at the beginning and a bit to get used to, but once you get them set right for your boots they are quick to get on and off, and you don’t need to sit down. The only bad part is it is easy to hit the back when it is folded down when you are scooting with one foot out of the bindings, I think this is more of a problem for normal footed people than it for the goofy footed set. Also the bindings can be difficult to put on if you let too much snow build up in them (which is also the case for all other bindings too). I like the looks of the K2 cinch, and would like to give them a try, but these flow bindings are really nice. I used to do my old ratcheting strap bindings on the way up the lift, and the ski patrol got on my ass about that saying it was an insurance isue that I couldn’t do it anymore. These give me a lot more control getting off the lift than I had with one foot out of the old bindings, which is why I bought them. However, the open back sometimes drags the ground and slows the board when I come off the lift with the back down (the only way you can with your foot half in the flow binding). Still it gives me a better lift exit, than the old one footed bindings did.

The price for that crappy binding is a Joke
